M&A Roundup: Yeo & Yeo expands

Woolston Consulting Group LLC, Red Bank, is merging with the accounting practice of William C. McNamara to create Woolston, Jensen & McNamara.
The combined firm will offer a range of services, from tax management and accounting services for individuals to estate and trust planning and compliance, as well as strategic business planning, exit strategies for small businesses, and investment wealth management.
“The synergies between our two firms make this the perfect partnership going forward,” said Charles Woolston, the founder of WCG, in a statement. “Our clients will benefit through the combined value and enhanced performance of our two firms, which will be far greater than the sum of their individual resources and accomplishments.”
“In addition, as we advise our business clients to plan for succession, it’s important that we also take the steps to insure our firm’s longevity,” Woolston continued. “My partners and I will continue to service existing and new clients in all areas of tax and accounting consultancy while adding a significant amount of experience to our business tax and accounting departments.”
McNamara and his team bring experience in family business accounting and consulting, as well as a concentration in the architecture, engineering, and contracting industries.
Aimee Jensen, the third name partner of the new firm, is a partner at WCG, which she joined in 2006. She has over 35 years of accounting experience and specializes in a broad spectrum of tax assistance and compliance including expert tax preparation, proactive tax analysis, and year-round tax planning.
